概要
2001年にリリースされたWu-Tang Clanの4thアルバム『Iron Flag』に収録された本作は、ゲットーにおける警察の腐敗と暴力、そして無垢な子供たち（Babies）がシステムに搾取されていく過酷な現実を描いたコンシャスな一曲である。RZAがプロデュースしたソウルフルで哀愁漂うビートとMadame Dによる透明感のあるコーラスが、陰惨なストーリーと鮮烈なコントラストを生み出している。Ghostface Killahはブルックリンを牛耳る残虐な悪徳白人警官の凶行をサスペンス映画のように語り、Raekwonは理不尽な警察の暴力によって人生を狂わされた黒人女性の悲劇を生々しく描写する。そしてGZAは、欠陥だらけの教育システムと貧困の連鎖を「腐ったリンゴ」に例え、そこから抜け出すための数少ない希望がヒップホップ（音楽）とスポーツであることを理知的に説く。ストリートの暗部を鋭くえぐり出した名曲である。
