1990年発表のA Tribe Called Questのデビューアルバム『People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm』からの記念すべきファーストシングル。グループが結成後ごく初期に録音したデモトラックの一つであり、Q-Tipの卓越したストーリーテリング能力とコンシャスなスタンスが早くも開花している。ビートはRoy Ayers Ubiquityのジャズ・ファンク・クラシック「Running Away」のベースラインとドラムブレイクを大胆にサンプリングしており、後の彼らの代名詞となるジャジーなサウンドの原点と言える。リリックでは、「Fool（愚か者）」の定義をウェブスター辞典から引用しつつ、ストリートでクラックを売るハスラー、女性に暴力を振るうDV男、そして虚勢を張って無意味な喧嘩を売るマッチョな男という3つの物語を通じて、当時のゲットーやヒップホップシーンにはびこっていた悪習をシニカルに切り捨てている。知性と平和主義を武器にしたNative Tonguesの哲学を高らかに宣言した重要な一曲である。
